Testing the image stabilization, exposure, continuous autofocus, color accuracy, audio, and checking for rolling shutter. Which one do you like best? Personally, I find the color rendering of the HTC One to be more accurate, but overexposed, and not having as much detail as the S4.
DON’T DO THIS AT HOME! MWC 2013 official Sony Drop Test. Of course I got to take a whack at it too lol. This phone is very well built and incredibly strong on all levels. Front is most likely Dragontrail glass by Japanese supplier Asahi, while the back is most likely Corning Gorilla Glass.
Make sure to keep all your ports tightly sealed when exposing to the elements! If water gets passed any of the flaps, a moisture sensor is waiting to claim misuse, seemingly at your expense. Sony doesn’t want to claim responsibility for misuse. Still this is a great phone that will appeal much to the accident prone and adventurers.
T and Z may have different glass but both have the same screen sheet. Sony oddly glues a screen protector onto their scratch resistant glass. They call this a shatterproof sheet and keeps broken glass shards from leaving the glass. It scratches easily and after a while does no good for visibility. Watch as I torture and remove it!!!
Testing out the Nexus 4 video camera at night. Walking through tunnels in Chambéry, France reminded me of a childhood terror I experienced. And yes I am filming reviews here while in France!!! oops…only 720p
