HI! My name is Erica Griffin. I am known on the interwebs as The Technology Nerd Who Likes to Film Stuff. I create insanely in-depth technology reviews as well as blog my experiences about what it is like to incorporate them into everyday living! I am from San Diego, CA. I went to the University of California, San Diego for my bachelors degree in Cognitive Science (I studied brains and hormones and why people do what they do). I specialized in Human Computer Interaction. Then I minored in Digital Media Production. Mix that all together and you get THE TECHNOLOGY NERD WHO LIKES TO FILM STUFF hehe. I love my boyfriend, François Simond, aka Supercurio, from XDA. He means everything to me and has been so supportive of me through all this! I love tech (obviously), I like to sing, I like to make origami models, I love to travel, I believe in Jesus Christ as my Lord and savior....

  1. That’s a sexy phone. Although. Personally, I would rather it be full android until I dock it then auto switch to ubuntu. Like that old idea from a couple years a go now I think it was. By the way. What ever happened to that?

  2. All you had to say was the first three things.

Dual boot Ubuntu mobile OS and Android (Passes out from excitement)
Fully integrated Ubuntu desktop PC when docked – DUDE!
Fastest multi-core CPU, 4GB RAM, 128GB storage (OMG)

I want this phone sooo bad. It will trully be the mobile device of devices.

      1. That’s sad you didn’t feel like replying me. I understand you might have been tight on schedule but I assumed that if you replied to one of your fans then I might also get one. Hope to get a reply soon.

  3. Hey Erica. Can I donate for them from India? I mean do have any idea about the launch of this phone in India? I would surely like to donate. If it’s possible then plz let me know from where can I make this happen, any link or something would do.

  4. Can’t for your review on it in 2014. It’s gonna be a versatile mobile device. I don’t think I’ll need a computer any more. Maybe a big monitor to connect it to…

  5. Aaaaaahhhhhh!!!!!
I’m so psyched with this phone! I wants it!
Thank you Erica for the heads-up on the precious!
    Laterrrr

  6. don’t get too excited, desktop work on an ARM processor? seems unlikely.

the phone part seems good though.

  7. I would love to see a follow up brake down of the China made Meizu MX3 VS the Spanish BQ. From what info I could dig up I was flavoring the MX3 for hardware… Most others seem to favor the BQ. I would really value your input.

  8. Nice interview but I had much prefer a dual android/full windows OS…but that’s just me.
Also smartphone should be waterproof if possible…
